EBay spam

I just received a "Question for seller" that was actually a solicitation for donations to some church. It's bad enough that it was total spam, and just disgusting that any purported "ministry" would do something like that.

I reported them to Ebay. . .

Anyway, they included full contact information in the email. I figured hey, if they really want the word out, I'll post that info here. Maybe somebody else wants to give them money? Or ask how much they'll give you for that bass you're selling. Oh wait, they're not buying, they're selling! Too bad whatever it is, I don't want any!

Why?

What's wrong with posting contact information that someone sent to me, unsolicited?

FYI he has just apologized, saying he didn't know he was "breaking a rule". As if he's never heard of spam, nor the fact that most people detest it.
