I'm not so sure that monstrosity is from the 60's. Mostly basing this opinion on the fact that I don't believe that style of tuning keys were used back then but I figure the 80's would have been a great time for it to surface.

One of my friends has a fretless 4-string bass just like this one, same color, with that "Amazing" logo. It's made of composite, IIRC (at least the neck). It has a P-pickup and a piezo in the bridge.

It actually sounds pretty good (the guy's recorded with it), but the action is around 3/8", and the fingerboard is flat (no radius at all). I think the scale is something like 32".
