EBMM stingray eq??

For you guys who own a EBMM stingray clasdic. How do you set your preamp controls? I roll mine full on, and then back the bass and/or treble off depending on the room and age of my strings. I just want to know what others are doing.

Bass all the way up, use the treble as a tone knob much like you would on a P Bass. If it's too boomy, back off the bass a little until it's not.

That's what I do, I was just wondering if it was the norm.

I don't think that's the norm. The norm seems to be similar to 3 band settings: find roughly middle on both knobs and go from there.

That's not enough bass on the 2 band for me.

Really? I do not like the sound with both rolled back even a third.. but I play pretty aggressively with a pick in a very bass forward band..

Bass at about 2/3 with treble at about 1/3

I pluck close to the neck for P-bassness, close to the bridge for Stingray tone.

Almost same as above. Bass at about 3/4 and treble about 1/4. Roll on or off what I need from there.

I set mine with the bass at about 70% and the treble at about 60%, however i use flatwound strings so it sounds like the treble is only at about 30-40%.
