Just got a call, mine is ready, was in for bad fret noise especially on the E. Turns out it has a slight ramp (??) and fretwork was done (a couple were high?) to calm everything down. I'll be having a serious discussion with the dealer tomorrow.

My Jet Black 4H showed up today! I'm glad I heard the UPS guy coming, because he didn't knock or ring the buzzer, and the Reverb seller didn't require a signature on delivery.

The damn thing is a killer. Came wearing some Dunlop rounds that are still nice and zingy - plays and sounds even better than the one I tried! I'm still not crazy about the all-black, so I might offer it up for trade down the road. But for now, really enjoying it.

Sometimes the color grows on you when you love the bass (especially w pickguard change as mentioned). I put a tort guard on my black Cutlass and really like it.

Got mine back, plays OK quieter. Tech said the slope body end was up but minuscule, couple or few thou, and he did minor levelling, mostly on the last 2 frets. It plays fine, but I’m sorta out of love with it....that said, I’d own another, but 4H not HH. He has none on the way and order is 9 months out. What to do.
