Much appreciated! I'm still in the "return window" for my charging green Special and was mildy concerned that I may like one of the new colors much better. I've got your back if charges are pressed. Luckily we aren't dealing with RicsOk I'll post what I have but Mr. Ball if you are reading this that will be a straight 20 percent discount on my next 4hh Special, I thank you. I’m actually surprised at how many special 5s are out there weighing 9lbs. 8oz. and even more. I would prefer one closer to 8lbs. 8oz. even though such a weight is not terribly common.But the Special 5 string doesn't weight anything
Great new colours. I really love the raspberry burst one. I am thinking of getting that one (as HH) or the burnt apple one. Difficult one.
BTW, there is one more new colour: Smoked Chrome. I think I am ok to post it as EBMM already had it in their Vault and I think I previously posted it as well

I think I like Speed Blue the best of the current batch, although the previous Chopper Blue finish is more to my liking. I bought and returned a Chopper Blue Special SR5 (the weight was supposed to be 9.6 8.6 lbs. but was 8.6 9.6 lbs. on my scale) that I was thinking would look nice with a black/mint/black pickguard.

To each his own. I was just going to say that I like the blue finish the least. That's why they give us options -- different personal tastes. For a subdued finish, I'm digging the forest green. For a flashy look, that Amethyst Sparkle knocks me out!
Don’t get me wrong—they’re all high-quality, beautiful finishes. It’s just that I can only pick one so I must go with my favorite of the bunch.
This is difficult, raspberry burst or burnt apple? I cannot make my mind up. I am leaning slightly towards the burst (cool matching headstock, black hardware) but I am concerned about the wood grain on the back. I cannot stand the look of mismatching wood pieces that I've seen many times on burst models or models with natural finishes.
Understood. And don't get me wrong -- I'm not knocking your preference. Variety -- in basses and people -- is a good thing!
Oops, I meant that it was supposed to be 8.5 lbs. and turned out in fact to be 9.5 lbs. I returned it because it was too heavy. I have a 2001 StingRay 5H in Honeyburst/maple that is great but it weighs 10.5 lbs. which makes it really tiring to play.
Smomed Chrome is looking pretty amazing to me. The green one looks really cool too, wish it had black hardware. The raspberry burst is growing on me too. Would need to see how it looks in a "real" photo though.

The more I see Snowy White, the more I know it must be mine. To bad it will unfortunately be towards the end of the year, just when they'll release the 2022 colors 
Kudos to EBMM for some creativity with colors. I guess these just aren't for me and I'll stick with my 2019 Special in Black/Maple/Chrome. I'm sure build quality is what we've all come to expect from EBMM, but these colors just seem to highlight the lack of quality (swamp ash) body woods. I tend to be more reserved with colors though (see black Special 4H), so perhaps an unpopular take, but hey that's why we have choices.
I think it’s remarkable how Music Man releases a few new finishes, and the community goes crazy and makes purchasing plans. It’s the same bass model, same electronics, plays and sounds the same, just has a different color with a fancy name. Is Music Man the Apple of bass?
Not putting it down at all, and I love my 4H Aqua Sparkle. But I do think it is unusual for a music instrument. Also, the Snowy Night looks really cool!
