Some reviews/experience on EBS-610? Or EBS in general?

Technical question: this cabinet has 3 ohms. Will I have a limited choice for the amp to go with it because most off them are 4 ohms or higher...?

Thats weird, I've never seen a non-DIY cab thats 3 ohms.

And yeah, you'll want to pick your amp carefully. I would make sure your amp is rated at 2 ohms.

might be able to get away with an average amp, they can usually handle a 2.66666 ohm load (a 4 and 8 chained together) so i guess you COULD use a normal amp...

are you sure its not a typo? is 3 ohms even possible!?

Just in case anyone still cares:

The 610 IS 2.67 ohms. Its effectively 3 8 ohm 2x10" cabs in the same box.

idk about the 6x10, but man when i tried a td650 w. a 4x10 (both ebs) it was quite a surpirse. even when the eq on the amp was flat with my geddy, it was almost too much for me. i say go for it. ebs stuff kicks ass!

hey question: my amp goes down to 2 ohms so that's not a problem, but what if I ever used a different amp that only goes to 4 ohms, would it be impossible to use it on this cab?

Impossible? No.

If you plugged your amp into your cab youd get sound.

But your amp has a minimum impedance for a reason, it may thermal out, melt stuff, cause other issues. I might be tempted to try it as long as I didn't turn everything up to 11, but realisitically it wouldn't be the smartest idea.
