EBS Reidmar 752 - like it or not?

I played through a 750 but not the 752. I did not quite understand why they did the output design the way they did on the 752, but I enjoyed the 750. I would rather have full power output into a 4 ohm load, but 2 ohm compatibility is a good thing. I expect it wouldn't sound drastically different than the 750.

My experience, as well....I have no need for a 2 ohm compatible amp. I use a 5.2 ohm 700 watt 3x10 so it's a good match. I can't imagine there would be any discernible change in tonal character. For the $$, it's a best buy IMO.

I wouldn’t mind having one, as I liked the 750. But I have no idea of the economics, as I have not investigated the new USA distributor. USA pricing of bass gear has gone up quite a bit since I owned the 750.

I had a 750 and a 502. it's a good amp, sounding something in between of 'modern' and 'rock'. in fact, I didn't have a bass, I loved when plugged in. it also had a great DI.

I now play into a MarkBass head, it's a bit more velvety (no grit, but softer and uniformer), but also somewhat alike and I liked the EQ more. the DI on the Reidmar was like much better tho.

I was looking at one but went with Eich instead..and have to say am very very pleased with it.
I have a Fafner too so I think that scratches my EBS itch.

I liked the all round spec but wasn't sure this EBS line mirrored the TD and Fafner line.
