EBS service

It may be wise to get in contact with EBS and tell them about what happened. They might want to consider changing their distributor and they may be helpful for you too. Just submit their contact form, they are REALLY nice and REALLY helpful - ALL the time.

Someone via their Facebook page contacted me and we made an arrangement. They then had mr Andre contact me and we confirmed this arrangement.

Still just words. Waiting for something tangible to report.

Oh okay. Carl I just asked https://www.facebook.com/ebs.sweden.14?fref=ts (PM) to help you and gave them a link to this thread, so hopefully someone from EBS Sweden will get evolved soon and help you.

Thanks Joe, contact from different points may be helpful. It seem there are a few examples of what I have experienced on TB, as well as some folks who were very satisfied with their experiences.

The disparity of service received should be troubling to someone involved with the company, as it is not up to what some of the other vendors are providing. When I am shopping in a retail outlet and something bothers me I always ask to talk to a manager. If the manager agrees something needs to be done, and it is done, then great! But if they give lip service, and nothing changes, then goodbye.

Actions speak louder than words. On the internet words seem to be all, and when a company won't reply there is not much a customer can do.

Except send his words to others who may be interested in the situation.

I can understand the issues with older electronics and obsolete parts, that is a given. It's the communication problems which are unacceptable.

If you can't be bothered to respond with a few lines to a once a month enquiry about progress there is something wrong. I never expected a freebie, I just wanted a working pedal. When it was in their guys possession I made a point of not writing excessive emails about what was happening. I think waiting a month to see about progress is more than reasonable, but no replies is not.

I agree carl, communication is absolutely key. Isn't that what all this interwebz/email/smartphone technology is all about? But many companies just won't invest in the manpower needed to maintain a high level of communication with lots of different customers. They want the upside, and the appearance of providing a particular service, without the downside of actually following through.
