Ed Friedland's review of different DR strings

I've seen this review mentioned in the past, but the link is broken. Fortunately, the Internet Archive's Wayback Machine made a copy, though the audio files don't work. Still, I thought it might be helpful:

Pure Blues must have come out after he wrote this, though I've also seen reference to his review of those. Anyone happen to have a copy they could share?

DR has sound samples themselves on their own website, but honestly I find them not terribly informative... I think there's a lot more tonal difference between their strings than those samples suggest.

For me personally the best string reviews are the ones I do myself by investing the money and playing them myself on my basses in the band I play with. ;)
