Eden 2x15xlt ...4 or 8 ohms

Hey Guys,

I was wondering .....I'm gonna buy the Eden e300 with the 2x15 xlt .....and I was not sure about the 4 or 8 ohms ...

I already have the wt800 + 410xlt and want also to do bi-amp with the 2x15
Should I go 8ohms.....how does this works....

I would leave it as 2 rigs. If the 410 is 8 ohms and you are bridging the 800 into it... that is textbook. Bi-Amping is really not needed.
A 4 ohm 215 with the 300 is an old-school rig that would be terrific.

The one that they have in stock is the 8ohms......but I was asking myself..... what is the difference between the 4 and 8 ....I never really knew

The reason I wanted to bi-amped......is to have a different tone......only sending the extreme lows in the 2x15 ....which would make the 4x10 works less and have better definition in Studio.......or to be honest, just for experimentation.....cuz I'm presently working on an album and trying different stuff...

The difference in 4 and 8 ohms is the power rating they pull. For example the E300 head runs at 320 watts at either 4 or 8, but most amps will run 225 watts at 8 ohms and 300 at 4 ohms, ... or similar. It will make no difference on the 300.
I have run both the 800/410 rig and a 550/215 rig. The 410 is not lacking on lows by any means, you can play with then and see the sound you can derive and find what you do and dont like.
For the studio, I always ran the DI from my Edens straight into the board, never mic'ed a cab.
