Eden amp- clip light busted?

Just got a eden wt 330 head and ive noticed that no matter how high i turn the gain the clip light wont come on, im playing through a fender jazz with an audere preamp with the volume totally up but that damn clip light wont make a peep! any advice, suggestions?

Can you hear any distortion? Maybe its just not clipping

when i give it alot of gain i can hear distortion but still no clipping light

Just noticed the same thing w/ my WT405. Have also recently noticed the power switch not turning the amp on every time I turn it on, have to switch it a few times for it to come on.

This amp is less than a year old and has not been used more than twice a month. I took a chance when I bought this amp knowing their recent QC/CS issues & was really hoping to have an issue free experience.

I'm afraid Eden's QC is going to end up driving me away from an amp brand that I really like & CS is a whole other issue to be dealt with soon enough.

Although I have yet to deal with their CS, the issues others have dealt with are enough for me, and unless my experience is awesome.....I'll likely be moving on.

It's a shame.

The WT405 has a very clean preamp gain structure, most basses you need to run the preamp gain boost.
Are you using the preamp gain boost?
With ALL of my basses end up with the preamp boost ON and it dialed up to about 1-2oclock, that gives plenty of signal and most likely you will get plenty of volume from the amplifier and will be hitting the output limiter by the time you hit 11oclock on the master.

The WT405 has an incredible track record of being bulletproof, take a search on ANY bass forum and look for yourself.

Vinny......At the price point of the WT405.....I'd expect the power switch not to start pooping out after a couple dozen flips of the switch. While these types of things can happen to any manufacturer, Eden has recently really suffered in the QC department & even worse in the CS department.

How they handle my claim wil be what makes or breaks my ongoing support of their product. End of story.
