Eden Combo repair

the small square lighted channel switch on my barely used David Eden Combo amp won't light up and won't swith to the right channel. Do I just need a new switch? bad connection? the amp is 8 years old with maybe 50 hours, never toured, nothing spilled on it. hmmm

Try cleaning the switch's contacts with DeoxIt, a spray oxidation cleaner you can find at electronics stores or online. If that doesn't fix it, it seems like the switch will need replacing.

In addition to Deoxit, try "exercising" the switch by operating it a whole bunch of times. Also, if the amp has a footswitch jack, plug and unplug into it several times.
