Double Bass Eden CXC-110 for DB/BG?

Not a Peavey Bam, mind you- bam as in 'Bam! I got the CXC-110 after all (there's a short novel about why this took so long entitled 'Stinkin' U.P.S.')'. I SOOOOO love this rig for DB, & it's certainly louder & clearer(than the Hartke KB-12)for BG too. I'll do a mini-review after I play out w/it. Go get yours today!

3/4 size solid DB w/Radio Shack piezo into K&K Pure preamp into CXC-110+CX-110; played w/drums, piano, acoustic guitar(through PA), 3 or 4 mic'ed vocalists. Evening Church service- it seems whenever I lug the big bass in, the set list is every song I'd rather play slab on. It was a good test, though:mostly uptempo & fairly loud. I've never been able to hear myself so well, & it never sounded so sweet! I plugged a line from the effects loop send into a little amp in the drum cage- the drummer was equally impressed. I ran the EQ flat w/a bit of mid boost on the preamp- perfect, unlike my 'intonation'. Highly recommended.

Good to hear you got things straigtened out and you're getting a good sound to boot. Do you run through the house too?

Hey, Jesse. Yes, I'm in the house as well- although I have no idea what it sounds like in the congregation. I've never had a sweeter-sounding, or just plain hearable setup as this. I'm trying to work a mention into every post I make.
