Double Bass Eden D212XLT?

Does anyone have any experience with the Eden D212XLT for double bass? I'm currently using an iAmp 800 into a Wizzy 12 MLine. I'm thinking about getting one for the louder gigs, rather than pushing the Wizzy so hard.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I have an Eden DC112XLT (combo), it sounds good enough for DB, but it's heavy and I dream of getting a lighter combo. Eden's website is not always accurate for weight listed, and even they write that the D212XLT is 74lbs. Seventy-four pounds!! Let us say it's about 80 pounds... Are you into weight lifting?

It is a heavy cab, but does sound great. I used mine for doubling for years with an Eden 400w Traveler head. If you have a good back, a hand cart, and/or a roadie you'll be fine. I ended up going the 112xlt times 2 route. My back is a lot happier now.

Add a 2nd Wizzy...like the used one in the classifieds right now. Hard to believe that you're playing db too loud for that rig.

I used to double with that cab all the time, but that was many years ago. It did a fairly good job, but I would second the idea of getting a second Wizzy M-line to go with your current setup. I really like the iAMP 800 with two 4-ohm Wizzy's or M-line Wizzy's.
