Eden e-300 questions

Hi wengr....can't help too much on your questions , didn't use the headphone/mp3 features.......I can say the amp is really decent.......I had one,running a Eden D115 cab......head was loud , powerful.., looks cool...I liked it for a week , the only thing I didn't like was the fans....they are a bit loud....no problem if you are jamming with the band or playing loud.... see my comments, reply #6 by Brickie

Ok, so I have recieved an eden E300 and have used it at home for a bit. Some initial thoughts:
1 The build quality seems decent for the price point. It does not imo share anything aesthetically with traditional eden, but it's acceptable.
2 Tone is kinda warmish modern. Not as warm as hybrid edens, but pretty much what I was looking for. Using it for practice with DB112. Pretty good with my Metro Will Lee, and my Peavey TL, less so with my Thunderbird.
Cons:
1 Fans. As noted previously, the fans are LOUD. Too loud imo for a home practice amp. I like it tonally so I'm going to try and work with it.
2 Pots. One place where the build quality could be better is the pots. Some are fine, and some have a worrisome rough feeling when turned.
3 no speakon
4 Power. Have not tried it at 4ohms. Don't know what it's rated for at 8ohms, but it does not seem very powerful.
I have yet to use the aux input or headphone amp.

I bought one of these myself about 3 weeks ago for practicing at home. Yes the fans are a bit loud but for home use i do not mind it at all..better than what I had before,,a 25 watt Peavey guitar combo with a 8 inch Marvel speaker. I have read that the out put power is 175 watts @8 OHMS,,, (I could be wrong) but I like the sound hooked up to my Eden D210T Cabinet (4 OHM) and I can not complain about the price I got it for $230.00 new.
I like mine, with my peavey 410, it's way better than the rumble 75 I had before. More of the sound I like, deep... I usually run it flat with the enhance flat too, sometimes at 9 o'clock. P bass with power slinkys.
