Eden EX210 versus GK NEO cabinets

Hey everyone, first time poster here
I hope someone more knowledgeable and wise than me can help me with a suggestion.

Long story short: I have a GK MB210 combo first series MB 210 Specs — Gallien-Krueger, and I'd like to buy a new cabinet to link through the external connector. In this way, I should be able to use the full 500 Watts @ 4 Ohm of the amplifier.

Since I love the sound of my combo, after lots of thought I decided to get another 2x10 cab.
I first tried to find another GK NEO 2x10 cabinet, but with no success: the product line is discontinued, and it also seems that there are no more official GK distributor left in Europe to buy a new NEO IV cab.
I live in Italy, GK products are not very popular here, so few options in the second hand market too.

I feel like I'm left with two options:
1. Buy a 2x10 CX cab CX Cabinets — Gallien-Krueger (some shops still have some). As far as I understood, the only difference with the NEO cabinets are the ceramic drivers. How different do they sound with respect to neodymium drivers?
2. Buy a 2x10 cab with neodymium drivers, but of a different brand. I've found some nice prices for the Eden Ex210 EX210 - Eden Amps, but I have never had the chance to play one so I really don't know how they sound. Are they similar to GK products, or drivers' material do not have such a huge influence in sound?

Gear4music.com owns the Eden brand now, and as far as I can tell they are only selling off new-old-stock on hand, and not manufacturing any more.
Whichever extension cab you get, make sure it's an 8-ohms version and not 4-ohms.

Other than that, I haven't heard either one for comparison.

I'm looking exclusively for 8 Ohm cabs as the one paired with the combo has an 8 Ohm load and I don't want to screw up the amp.

Gear4music has actually some good deals for the EX210, this paired with the neodymium drivers made me curiois about them and how they sound compared to GK!
Can't find much info online though...

I had an Eden DX 210 cab and also a A GK CX 115. I’m not sure the difference between the D and E series - they look similar. The DX was a rugged beast that I hauled all over for years, only blew one speaker, and that was justified. It had the classic Eden low-mid focus, but the tweeter extended the range and was fully controllable with an L-pad (unlike many others).The GK was much lighter, not quite as loud, but had a great-sounding driver. Mine had no tweeter or crossover so it had a definite “vintage” focus. I never had the chance to test its roadworthiness, but I’ve beaten up other GK cabs over the years and wouldn’t hesitate in that regard. PS - the DX did NOT have neo drivers. That would affect weight and probably sound.

Hey TomB, thanks for the info! You're the first one with first-hand feedback on Eden cabs

I was mainly curious about the EX 210 and how different it sounds from NEO Cabs.
Or, if you had experience with Gallien Krueger CX cabinets, how different do they sound from Gallien Krueger NEO cabinets?
Basically, I just want to push my current setup at higher volumes, but considering that GK NEO 2x10 cabinets have almost disappeared in my area, I'd like to find the closest-sounding cab possible, and the two I listed above (Eden EX210 and GK CX210) seem the ones.
