Eden Nemesis Crossover Correct?

Hello everyone,
Recently I acquired an Eden Nemesis Combo amp for some design work I had done. It was playing fine except the compressor switch appeared to do nothing. So I decided to open it up and noticed something very odd about the crossover, but was not sure if it was normal or if it had been broken.

It looks as if it is broken in half, although I can't find any other half in the amp and also a short red wire is disconnected and just hanging. Also I found the tweeter unplugged for what seems like no reason. Also, there are the two red things (capacitors?) on the back of the crossover. They seemed fine I just didn't get a picture of them.

The combo is apparently an Eden Nemesis NC-200, can't find too much on it, and nothing regarding the crossover. Can anyone out there tell me if this is normal or whether I'll need to solder something back together. Also if anyone has any idea about the compressor switch, it seems to have no effect on the sound as far as I and a friend could tell.

I realized what happened. The coil on the back of the tweeter used to be glued onto the crossover board, and so the whole board with that coil was mounted onto the tweeter so it wouldn't be hanging there. Then the glue stopped working and the board fell off of the coil, while the coil managed to stay glued on. Then just the stress broke the wide attaching the board to the coil, hence the wire just sticking off the board. Well now I'm going to repair it. hopefully it all works after.

Still wouldn't mind if anyone has any ideas on the compressor.

the compression should work, try it on different basses the compression is pretty good on those

I have the same combo, yes the crossover looks like junk, and the compressor has no effect.

Well I managed to get it soldered back together. Sounds clearer now, at least I think it does, hopefully my mind isn't just fooling me.

I'll have to try with a different bass, I'm using a very cheap copy P-Bass right now and am hoping to get a much better active bass soon. Hopefully the Traben Neo Limited.

I was surprised, the rest of the bass looks to be built to a good quality standard. You think they would have done the same for the crossover. As it is it looks like its broken in half or something.
