Eden Setup Thoughts

So my deal is i haven't played in a band for years. My college band from 20 years ago still does a yerly charity show and i rent amps for that. But i have been itching to get my own basic rig. My setup when i played was a red SWR Bass 350 and an Eden 410XLT cab. I always wanted a full Eden rig though. So now i am thinking of grabbing a used WT-400 and cab. What do you think about a 210XLT? Used 410XLTs aren't much more but 99% of the time i will be playing at home at relatively low volumes. I know it wont have great bottom end but i think space and convenience may win out.

Yes, do it. I gig with a WT-400 and Eden 210 all the time. Mine is an XST because it's a bit flatter in response. If I really need to punch through a mix (e.g. outdoor gig) I will stack my 410XLT on top.

That Eden head is so nice to plug into with EQ set flat and Enhance hovering between 7:00-9:30, depending on the song/bass.

I like the WT400. Nice amp and tone. I see them come up occasionally. Good build quality. I match with the 410xlt. My taste has changed, but keeper amp and cab.

The XLT has lots of bottom, so I don't think that will be an issue. Great setup.

I had a pair of 210XLTs years ago and used just one to gig with a few time in smaller bars . Like munkeyfish says you won't have any issues with the bottom end . One will sound much louder and deeper than you would imagine . Great cabinets .

What about a used Metro combo as an alternative? Seems to be plenty out there. Cheaper overall but not sure what the "head" portion is analagous to.
