Eden WT-550

From an Eden website:
For amplifiers made up to 2012, the serial numbers first 4 digits represent the year and month of manufacture, for example 0408A1234 would be built in August, 2004. Much older amplifiers and cabinets are simply coded with the date. Amplifiers and cabinets made after 2012 are coded with the year and week for example C-2015-40-0557-A would be week 40 of 2015.

It doesn't seem helpful with your serial number.

I still use a rack-mounted Eden Navigator Preamp. A late 90s model from when these were made in Minnesota. The WT-550 has a similar preamp section and will sound great. It's a fantastic piece of gear and you will get an excellent tone from it. I am not sure how much it will matter if the one you are looking at was before the company was sold or after. That would be my only hesitation/consideration if I were you. Price seems about right if in proper working order.

I'd buy it. To me eden world tours were the best bass amps EVER, built. Wish there was something that sounded like them being built today but I've been told that players don't really like tones like that anymore. Or maybe they can't figure the secret sauce.
