Eden WT550

The best Eden heads are all the "B" series. The 800B is THE classic Eden that still gets used all over for backline. On the back panel, you'll see the B or C in the model number.

The C's all had extra circuitry. More switches and lights on the front panel, and more to go wrong. I had two 800C's. First one blew up - caught fire on stage. Second one started to snap crackle and pop. Took it back, traded up to a 1205C. It started getting flaky - intermittent dropouts, some crackling, so I dealt it for a db750.

I love my WT550B. It's great on stage and in studio.

Too heavy?!?!?! It's a tiny wee thing.

I also had a WT550B. Fantastic amp. Crisp tight lows, great mids, smooth highs, super powerful EQ, plenty of power, stable even at 2 ohms.
It weighs in at about 20 pounds but the small form factor makes it easy to tote around in a small mixer bag.

I used to carry mine in a rack case so it was pretty heavy addition to the 20lbs. Would never want to carry 20lbs of amp on a plane!!!! Got GAS and found that Genz Benz not only gives you a great and similar sound, but the weight and size to carry around in my gig bag. Would love another 550 for local gigs again though.
