i have one of the older wt800 heads back when they bridged at 800 watts at 8 ohms and am curious as to what i can do with the ohm ratings on this head.
it says i can run 400 watts per side at 4 ohms, so does that mean i can run 2 8ohm cabs PER SIDE?
what i was thinking was getting 1x12 cabs. so if i got 4 of them all rated at 8 ohms, i could potentially use one (260 watts at 8 omhs), two (400 watts at 4 ohms) or four (400 watts per side at 4 ohms) depending on the size of the gig. does that make sense?
