Can someone tell me what an Eden WT800D is and how it sits in with the other WT800 models? I know they are currently on the "C" version of the head. Someone is selling one here in town for a good deal and just making sure the "D" is not a factory second or similar. The date stamp on the amp is 2000 - thanks for any help,

Paraphrase from the Eden forumite, firebass:

"The WT800A series are all the WT800s made before US Music Corp. purchased Eden in 2003. Pre-USM WT800s had numerous mods, A-D. So your unit might say WT800D on the back. Don't be fooled. This is still a WT800A. US Music Corp. 800B and C versions have speakon outputs, while the 800As have banana plugs. The earlier 800A can be bridged at 8 ohms (not 4 ohms as in later versions), and run dual mono at 4 ohms per side. If I remember correctly, the vent holes are round in an A version. Later models have more oval vent holes. Also, on the back of 800As the bridge output should say 8 ohms."

+1, though some of the A versions (2003-2005 I think) have the speakons too.
