I'm highly opinionated and extremely self-assured
Hi - I had a thread here a couple of months ago about this, but apparently it's gone (?!?).

So, condensed version - I need a way to go and edit all of my old posts, in order to correct image links that have gone stale.

How can I do this?

What I'd like is for you, David, as the forum administrator, to temporarily change my user profile such that I have editing capability going back 9999 days (or whatever the maximum is that the forum software will allow). Then you would give me 14 days in which to go through all of my posts (which I would find using the search function) and update all of my IMG tags with the correct URL.

Obviously I would only have rights to edit my own posts, which means that quotes from other users will still have incorrect IMG URLs embedded (yuck).

Can you do this for me? I hate having conversations in which I've participated disrupted by missing images!

Resurrecting this thread and this request - I've had no help from my forum moderators. I'm hoping that the new forum software might bring some new opportunities here. I'm really unhappy about all of the broken photo links in my older posts, and I'd really like the opportunity to fix them. Please?

THANK YOU!!! It's working! I've begun updating my links, but it will likely take a few days. I'll post back when I'm done!
