Effect Chain For My Setup

I'm using a Jim Dunlop MXR M-80 Bass D.I.+, dbx MC6 Mini-Comp compressor and a Boss CEB-3 for my gig at a local joint. I'm only currently running through the P.A. system and thus would like to know what to put last on my chain?

Should it be the compressor or the D.I. unit?

Well you will want the eq/di last so you can send that to the micing board.

I would go

Chorus - Comp - MXR M-80

It doesn't really matter which way the comp and chorus go since the chorus won't make any big peaks for the compressor, it's just my personal preference.

Hope this helps

Just managed to lay my hands on a brand new Yamaha NE-1 EQ pedal. Took the chorus out of my chain as it wasn't really used much anyway.

Is this ok for a chain that DIs straight to the club's PA system?

Bass -> dbx Compressor -> Yamaha NE-1 EQ -> MXR Bass DI
