Effected/Un-effected mix?

Ahoy, kids. Haven't been here in a while.
Here's my current dilemma.
I'd like my effected tone to be mixed with my "dry" tone live and during rehearsals. So I can add a little bit of distortion, etc, but not sacrifice my tone overall.
Is there a way to do this without buying two amps, two cabinets, etc?

Xotic makes a really nice one from what I hear. Not cheap at all, though. Not really up on blenders. I just buy stuff that has it built in or doesn't need it.

Thanks. After my band had a temporary split I started spending all my time on car forums - one of my other many hobbies.
So here I am again.

I've heard nice things about Xotic, but they are a bit out of my budget
I guess all these extra cables and splitters I bought were for nothing, then!
