Effects Chain order?

I like the wah at the end of the chain. But I guess you have to decide for yourself, funk the fuzz or fuzz the funk.

Im not to sure about Fuzz into filter. My Bassballs doesnt like it to well. Some light dirt sounds good through it but to much dirt aint to good.

Agreed, I try to use my BassBalls by itself...or maybe with a compressor...thats about it.

here's an idea: since you have 2 dirt pedals, why not try placing one of them before the Q-tron/wah and the other after the q-tron/wah - that way you'll always have "both" options at your disposal.

Certainly not I, as I think they are very much valid, and available to you if you really want the information. Or you can continue to hound people for more responses to the same old question, which ever you find more effective! I feel your pain for not wanting to put the velcro down... I still change my pedal order occasionally and its always a battle with the velcro.. But to answer your original question: octave-dirt(dist then fuzz, so you can dirt-the-dirt with the bbms's dry mode)-filter-wah, and then modulation and delay if/when you add them to the mix. imo at least.

Im just saying, you said yourself youre changing your order every once in a while, so responses about effect orders from yesterday can be invalid compared to today. IMO.

Right now I have it

OC-2 > BBM > Qtron > Wah > FX57

But Im changing it around as more responses come in.

I have no probs with MicroPOG going into BassBalls.

Octave at the beginning of your chain is always a good idea for tracking.

I have them down with velcro now, but the Dunlop has to stay 4th in the chain, as I used a looong piece of velcro for it and the remains would stick out if I put the Q or OC on there.

What I need to know is what pedal to put into what. I have no idea. Im a total noob to effects, with these being my first effects and first board in general.
