effects pedals

hi, i was given an offer on a sonicake boom avenue, but not sure about them ? my type of bass genre style is more along industrial goth metal, is the boom avenue good or bad, i was in thinking going down separate pedals or going on the boss me-20b or me-50b or Ibanez route, some great guidance would be appreciated

Welcome, good question.

BOOM Ave.

Those are all useful effects in an ez to use package 5 for the price of one. Not a bad starter. In your style all of those effects and amp model will be effective.

Finding the perfect individual pedals is a journey of patience and $ made more challenging as new pedals seem to be added in every type daily.

It's probably... fine?

I would expect it to sound ok, but be noisy, but I've never owned one.

The boss multi's have lots of decent sounds, and are a good effects learning tool, but can be a pain to learn the interface.

I'd definitely recommend getting an inexpensive multi to teach yourself about how effects work before going all in on individual pedals unless you have something specific in mind.
