I started looking over the exhibitors list for NAMM last night. Oh man, I can't wait to see all the new goodies.
As for what I'd like to see, how about Akai rolls out the Deep Impact again, at the old list price?

I received an e-mail from Barge Concepts today that said they were working on a clone of the Meatball. It will be called "The Grinder" and should be out sometime around April. They have some other cool stuff planned, as well. They'll be a company to watch.
I'd love to see a new synth pedal to rival the Deep Impact, BMS and th G5. True bypass, at least 3 memory presets, combining ability to select different waveforms, filter sweep, speed and direction, and maybe even some sort of modulation
I wouldn't mind seeing a pedal that digitally modelled different cabinets, and that was the prime function of the pedal.
Presets are the only thing the BMS is lacking IMO and that's pretty much impossible to add since it's strictly analog.
It'd be interesting to see EHX come out with a digital Bass synth cause thats probably the only way they would get it in a smaller enclosure.
Nope. You can have presets on an analog signal processor. It's possible to digitally control potentiometers (knobs). My MAM Warp 9 comes to mind, but there are less obscure ones. I just can't think of any right now.
Hmm, I guess you learn something new everyday. Wouldn't you need some sort of memory chip though to store the presets making it digital?
Yeah. Signal path analog, controls digital. Completely possible, and other pedals use it as well, if im not wrong.
I'd like to see a XO BMS, really. Can't see how a XO Muff'n would work, considering its tubes and all, and i already have one.
I'd VERY much like standardisation of power supplies.
The best example would be the Tech 21 SansAmp Programmable Bass Driver DI (PBDDI).
It's everyone's favorite analog pedal with digital programmability!*
