Well you could have said the same about Jimi Hendrix - what a shame that he played so many notes and festivals like Woodstock didn't finish early so they could all have gone home and been tucked up in bed, instead of dancing about in the mud etc.

Why didn't somebody tell him :

Regarding "God playing thru you" - I'm very annoyed that certain religion sector, especially the most common organised religion in the US, are trying to sneak in, and preach their faith, and aganda into everything that they can get their hands on, and try to convert everybody into their sector.

If you had read the book,you'd know that is completely untrue regarding Kenny's philosophy.The word "God" is used as an encompassing term,and not taken literally.

Listen to Miles play "My Funny Valentine"there is something else going on there than just a musician who is talented and practiced alot.It goes beyond his heart and soul,way beyond.
I think Kenny's nailed it.
Can't be a mistake either that his trio is considered one of THE hippest ones in jazz right now.

The reason why I said what I've said was, I've found some popular religion zealous have been embedding their messages into their music, that are not supposed to be religious music.

I have returned quite a few CDs because of the underlining organised religious overtone. And these CDs just happened to be from US artists. (*Over 50% of my music collections are from non US artists/labels.)

Yeah it's a good thing - means we can spot them a mile off in tourist areas and avoid them or rip them off mercilessly - they expect everything to be expensive, so we might as well give them some stories to take home, when they leave us all their money!!

Actually, there is a common European language, Esperanto - it was invented by a bunch of linguists a while back... never took off tho, strangely!
