EGC Alternatives?

According to their website, Electrical Guitar Company is not making guitars for people to order anymore. I am really bummed out about this, because an acrylic Series 2 Bass VI has recently become my dream guitar/obsession.

Anyone know of any makers out there that can do custom aluminum/acrylic guitars/basses/baritones?

I think you may need to find a hobbyist with a homebrew CNC machine. I know there's a few builders using aluminum these days but don't know how custom they get.

I've wanted an acrylic guitar for 40 years so I'm joining this thread to see what you find. I've made plenty of bodies out of hard woods like purpleheart and feel confident I could do one in acrylic if I still had a shop space.

Nude Guitars are quite new on the aluminium scene, and seems to be making interesting gear. Not sure if they make acrylic bodies or not, though.
