I dunno guys, I've been fighting with this pedal for weeks now and can't seem to get many sounds (that I like) out of it. Heres the best links I've found so far..

I'm just looking for all kinds of synth options. Post 'em up. I'll give 'em all a whirl.

I'm also using a QTron, BassBalls & Boss Synth. Can't say the Boss gets much use but is interesting when used in a subtle kind of way. Thanks guys..

Adjusting the gain trim pot has helped. I need to fine tune it some more perhaps. But yes, it has helped. Merci

Actually it's a notoriously hard pedal to properly get your head round.

What exactly was the point in your post?

And TS, a while ago I printed out the settings pages that you mentioned up there, and they were very good, so have a play with all of them and you should start to see how the sliders interact with each other, making it much easier to figure out your own settings. Try moving the start and stop sliders together at the same level to isolate frequencies when you have other stuff as you want it, as this gives you a massive range of interesting sounds.

Yeah, whatever you do don't ask questions to see if there is something you may have overlooked. Especially if you have a resource that is here to provide expertise that hopefully you will pass on to someone else in the future. Bad idea.[/sarcasm]

+1. at first i had absolutely no idea how to make it do anything other than balls-out-every-slider-at-11 sounds, but i saw Jack Lawrence's settings for it with the Dead Weather and i started thinking about the other applications for it and now i find it hard to set up a mono board or a board im going to take anywhere without it.

I honestly cant get BAD sounds out of mine. I just thought it was funny that someone would ask what settings to use on a pedal.

According to who? I've NEVER heard anybody talk of it's notoriously hard to use qualities.
And you know the point of my post.
It was a JOKE.
Calm down everyone.

It's a rad pedal. I personally like setting the attack at full with a slow decay, using all the freqs. Nice synth sweep. Add delay after and you're in outer space. Hope that helps...

I recently got my hands on one of these again and it's a blast. It's hard to keep track of all the cool stuff you can do with it. I did have an idea though...I've been having a small problem with the filter section breaking up on my B string and I was wondering if anyone had tried using a crossover blend (Moosapotamus) to keep the lowest frequencies clean and eliminate unwanted distortion.

Well, some of us don't want to go to "outer space." Some of us want usable tones in a band context, and cranking the attack "using all the freqs" sounds like ass within a band. That first post of yours was pointless.
