EHX Knockout?

So im looking for a tone shaping pedal kinda thing and i saw this on the music website of my area and i want to go try it out soon. But what do you guys think of this pedal, is it a good eq?

im pretty much just looking for something that can give me a second sound or improving my current one. So if anyones tryed this pedal let me know what you think off it.

I used one before I got a VT bass. It's great for making dub low end sounds (be careful of your speakers), but the bandpass does not sound like all the freq. are present naturally and the highpass is just too high. The VT bass has SO much more midrange versatility as well as warmness (as long as you don't crank the drive and character past noon...) that it's well worth the price. The low end roll-off below 80hz (cabinet sim) protects you from frequencies that are too low to be reproduced...unlike the AE...so you can actually get more audible low end and low mid roar from it.

I have had one for quite some time now and use it more to 'sculpt' the sound of EHX bass Big Muff to make it a bit more synthy. The Low and Dry controls are fairly effective for bass, but the high pass filter is set far to high, as @BassBrass said. It doesn't even touch the sound of my bass.

If you are after something to actually change your tone, go for something else. The Knockout on bass is very subtle, but it can make rooms or stages shake if you turn up the low control
