EHX Mono Synth Volume Problem

Alright kids, I've scoured the Internet but haven't been able to find any issues regarding volume of this pedal. I love the sounds. Even the tracking is great, but there is a VERY noticable volume dip once engaged.

Am I stuck looking for a booster to use with this pedal?
