I've been searching for a new fuzz(cheap) just to play around with at home and found this Eleca EFZ-3 Fuzz on eBay for 24.99. Can't really find info on it other than a couple YouTube demos. But I figured I'd roll the dice and try it out. Should be in next week.
I've already got a joyo ultimate octave and the fuzz is fairly nice on it but the octave seems useless to me on bass. I also just purchased a joyo ultimate drive and love it. I've got some capacitors on order to mod it like johnk suggested for more bass though.
I just thought I'd start a thread for anyone curious about the Eleca stuff, which look an awful lot like the Harley Benton custom line stuff. And once I get mine in I'll add my opinion on it. If it sounds fuzzy enough I'll probably mod it for more bass retention as well.
