Ok so a few months ago someone posted a pic of an acoustic bass that a similar body style to an electric. Does anyone have any info on that bass or similar basses that look like electric basses?

You should try and be more specific as there are a lot of Acoustic Electric Basses - some fit the traditional form factor others do not. Also try searching - you might stumble on the thread. Good luck!
Do you mean a Godin A4 (now Acousticaster)? Not really close to a honking ABG; unplugged it is only loud enough for practicing, but that is exactly what I needed.
No no I don't mean an acoustic/electric bass, I mean an actual acoustic bass that has a similar body style to lets say a fender. But it's not an acoustic/electric.

Not sure of the actual name, but Fender built some p-bass models with acoustic style bridges and f-holes. Could that be what you're looking for?

That was called the Fender A/E Precision from the early 90's. Piezo, thin hollowbody, fretted or fretless.
I remember Carvin also making a thin acoustic, 'electric' looking bass. I think next time I get an ABG, I'll go for one of those.
