Electricity in string

With all due respect, Shishka Bob, part of your comment is materially wrong. The instrument does not get "charged". An unauthorised connection between two points could arise from a fault condition which might put the strings at line potential. But this is not the bass being charged up.

There are circumstances where equipment requiring an earth that is used on a non-earthed mains supply could give the appearance of it being live to the touch, whilst still working properly. Suppression components inside the amplifier on the mains input side could well give this impression under the above circumstance.

A quick check shows the single phase line voltage in Iran is 220VAC - plenty enough to kill a person. This is apparently a two wire system: I cannot tell whether it's 2 wire + earth or just live and neutral. Mains powered electrical equipment of many types do not require an Earth connection to work properly and safely. But, the equipment should have a plate which describes whether or not it should be earthed.

IT IS ABSOLUTELY VITAL to get advice on this.

Best. J

The OP made it quite clear that they do not.

Never crack an amp open, even if you "kinda" know electrical. Bring it to a professional. You can die from screwing around with this stuff, if you don't know what you're doing.

I'd never recommend him touching his amp by himself even with sufficient otherwise electric knowledge.

(That said: Strings should have a ground connection at the bridge which usually is connected to other grounds in the amp and incase of our 230V 50Hz 1L-N-PE system is connected to the PE. Usually when I buy an amp and/or bass I plug everything in - except the amp to the socket - and check if the strings are connected to the PE in the amp's cable, so security measures work.)

Yeah, sorry. My post was a 2 parter.. 1st was an answer to your question to the OP, 2nd was a caution to anyone thinking about cracking open an amp without knowing exactly what they're doing. Was not meant to be entirely directed at you. :)

I'll add one more voice to the choir saying this is probably a bad outlet/receptacle. It could be the amp, but more than likely it's the house (or bar, or whatever) wiring - get someone who knows what to do to help you.

In middle I felt my string burn my hand ,I touched the string but nothing happened but when I rest my hand slolwy on strong i felt burning on my skin .
By slight touch the electrical bite felt

Do not, under any circumstances, plug an amp into that same outlet ever again. It literally could kill you.
Grounded outlets only. Get an outlet tester that is set up for the electrical system in your country. Use it.
No gig is worth dying for.

With all due respect .... Electrical test gear is only as good as the person who uses it. If the gentleman has no technical knowledge he may never understand the true situation. Having spent half a lifetime dealing with electrical safety I recommend he seeks expert advice first, then becomes familiar with electrical safety afterwards.

The funny part is that I k is its grounding problem .
All say use grounded outlet but guys it's not available in my country .
That type only use in factory and place like that .

In house nothing is grounded because the country is adding grounded less than 9 month to programe .

I should ground the amp or the amp has grounding problem because I don't have any problem with other amps.(Marshall mb30 and stagg 25 watt).

So how to ground it if it's normal for amp to have this problem ?

If it's not normal in amp I should call the shop I buy this from it for repair .
But remember the shop don't have technical engineer for this problem so they won't and can't do special repair if needed .

Puts a whole new meaning to hot pickups. Looking at the type C, E, & F plugs in your country, I am thinking you make a polarity issue. Also, check to make sure you are getting the voltage at the proper frequency for your amp. I believe Iran is 50 hz.
The e and f type is only use in places that have industrial tools .
Home has type c ,when a new house build latley they add type f .
But usually most area have type c .type c is Is not grounded .
Yes it's 50hz

Sounds like you almost had a case for changing your user name!

Actually, I got tired of lightning coming in over our power wires & destroying equipment.

The rubber flip-flops worked pretty good, but in the end I ran three ground rods, tied them all together in the overhead & put in thermal-magnetic breakers.
I would highly recommend the OP get a ground wire installed.

I think it's best idea

I will search net to find how can I install a good one .
I think I will Cal manufacturer and report this problem because my other amp doesn't have any problem .

For try I add cable and wrap it around input jack of amp and then use a metal things anf left it on ground .
It worked meh ,it did much better.b it still need something more powerful and more safe .
I don't wanna do anything stupid .

Although I don't know of using pedals on way , does it help or make it worse .if adding multi effects and other stomp pedals in way help i may do that too .
