Electro-Harmonix Q-Trons

Hi, im looking to get a electro-harmonix Q-Tron pedal for my bass. Just a regular one not a plus or mini. I don't know what the difference between these two pedals is. If there is a difference which one is better?

The top link is to a photo of the old Q-Tron, introduced in 1995 or 6. It was produced until earlier this year, where it was given the XO treatment. This involved, among other things, changing the chassis to a smaller, cast-aluminum box, with a new paint scheme. I'm not entirely certain if EHX changed the circuit (the old one was analog), but from what little information is available on the subject (mostly people here who have them), they have not. If this is true, it means they should sound identical.

Though I have the old one, and I absolutely can't live without it, I would recommend getting the new one, mostly because it's smaller, and probably easier to find.
