Yea, mine are super bright. And I have them on a custom Fenderbird, that usually is so boomy I need more brightness as it is. I said at first I hated them. I'm still not super sold. I like the sound, I guess. But they're too slick. Like they've been played on in Guitar Center and are now covered in some kids boogers.

The tension, or lack thereof, is the deal breaker for me. Whether I get used to the tone or not, tuned down a half step, these strings are just way too floppy for my liking.
