After the upgrade the email notifications are so slow to load, I just skip it and go to the website. What are the new emails trying to do? Send statistics/metrics back to the mothership? I’d rather they didn’t. The website will know I can back by virtue of I came back to read the content about which I was notified.
The danger to TB is that if users disable email notifications because they’re too slow and/or datamining, TB may see a drop in traffic to the website. On the upside, this is an effective way to shed G.A.S.!
