Just curious if anyone has modified their Steinberger Spirit Bass (XT-25,XZ-25) with EMG pickups and EQ. I had read about someone modifying their Spirit with Bartolinis and being pleased with the outcome, but I'm not really interested in that route. I'm contemplating upgrading my XT-25 with a stacked volume, EMG BQC control, 18V, 35P(40P5) neck and bridge, or a possible 35CS(40CS)bridge. Any help or insight would be appreciated. Anyone have any experience with that particular combination in other basses? Thanks in advance.
