EMG preamp with passive pickups

I have a couple doubts about this project of mine. I bought a BTS control preamp and want to pair it with PJ vintage squier pickups, I wanted two volumes so I got 250k pots.

I wired them up just as shown in this picture:

So from the preamp I have a white and a black cable with a plastic thing, which I think I need to remove to solder it to the bridge volume pot. Can you please tell me how do I connect this?

Where the normal passive circuit attaches to the jack, attach those to the input of your BTS. You can cut off the plastic connector and solder to the wires, no problem (don’t forget to shrink-wrap the connections). Then follow the EMG directions for hooking up their jack and their battery connector.
