EMG35-sized P Pups?

I’ve finally made the decision to swap out the pickup on my Gibson LP DC Jr for a P pickup.

Just wondering if anyone knows of one that is the same size as the EMG35 (which is equivalent size to a Thunderbird pickup), OR knows of some kind of pickup ring on the market which will allow me to mount a P pup in this bass?

I'm also curious about this! I've only found active pickups in that size that are P bass sounding.

Well the T-bird is actually slightly larger than an EMG35. And rounder in the corners. But yeah, you can put a 35 in that space.

The EMG35P is the obvious choice. I think it sounds like a P, with the benefit of active clarity. But you may not want a battery.

I also thought the Nordstrand Big Split was in the P ballpark.

Thanks for the suggestions. Definitely not looking for an active pickup in this bass. I tried that with the EMG TBTW that I had installed for a while… without there being a battery compartment on this bass (and I don’t want to add one) getting at the battery to change it was more work than it was worth, imo.

Not sure how long you’d have to wait for it but it looks like Bartolini has an option that should work for you.

Nordstrand also has this offset split coil.
It might be more of a modern sound but you can get it in the EMG35 shape.

I'm curious about this, too, so I'm gonna blow the dust off this slightly old thread.

Recently, in an effort to condense my collection, I had to sell my Fender Blacktop Jazz. No surprise, I already miss it, but one of the Projekts in the works can take EMG35/Bartolini M3 pickups, so the idea of finding a pair of P-bass-style, split-coil pups is very appealing.

I already know some of the companies that make them…Bartolini, EMG, LeCompte, Nordstrand (kinda-sorta), etc…but I'm wondering if there are other options to consider. Suggestions would be good, but if there are some demos to listen to, that would be even cooler.
