i am thinking about installing active EMG's in my p bass.
i have read and researched about these pickups and
they might be the extra thump and punch that i need.
i have Seymour Duncan QP's in mine and they are ok i
guess, but no real punch and clarity, just bass boom.
I will not and repeat will not add a jazz pickup, to me
its no longer a p bass if there is a jazz pickup on it, sorry.
any experience or advice for these pickups would be great.
