Introducing CannaBass™
(Another) spectacular looking bass driver from Eminence... And just when I was thinking of building a small portable single 10 cab!
I did a sim in AJhorn and it's not as bad as one would think, it's pretty good actually. The specs and frequency response look better than the 3010lf. Aside from the steep price the one thing I don’t like is the low Qts which makes for a lean sounding upper bass. IME, a value between 0.30 and 0.37 seems to work best for ported cabs.
Nothing wrong with the KL3015 but quite a different voicing. The CB3015N would have more deep and upper bass but the KL3015 would be more sensitive and have stronger upper mids. This was just a simulation to see how this might work out. I actually prefer the 15PR400 voicing to the KL3015 (I've had both) and it really shines with a 5" mid. I just thought this CB3015N model looked interesting. The CB3010N-8 is interesting to me because there hasn't been a full-range 10 in the Kappalite line. But there has been a full-range (for bass) 15 - the 3015. Wondering why you might pick the CB3015N-8 over the KL 3015.
It was audio only from Second City preceding SNL. Brilliant isn’t it?Oh that's fantastic. Was this considered kids TV?
Altho we heard of, and saw snippets, we never had Mr Rogers in Aus, afaik
