It's possible that IF two drivers were not being driven, they acted as a poorly tuned passive radiator, which would reduce the power handling in the two drivers that were being driven. That could be the root cause, but you still need to be sure the suspension part of the remaining 2 drivers are not damaged. The damage may be hidden, affecting the internal properties of the driver.I have to add, though i'm not a tech, there was a loose cable (internally), attached it and the right two speakers where moving much less. I found out because I added much bass to my eq and the two on the right side were moving in an extreme way. After attaching the cable the four speakers are moving even again. Tested it very loudly, no break up or whatsoever.
I hope this makes sense because I am from the Netherlands so kinda hard to explain.
There are shops that specialize in reconing. Many of the DIY recone jobs I see are abysmal at best, it takes time, practice, aptitude and an attention to detail that few are interested in doing. Thanks for the advice so far.
Reconing is not realy what I would like to do, looks difficult to me. Maybe as a last resort.
I don't care that much for weight so a heavier driver is not a problem. Would the Delta 10A be a good choice?

Have no idea if the delta 10A is a suitable choice or not, it depends on the parameters of your cabinet.
Buy the Eminence CA 1059, they boast being the best option for Eden replacements. I just bought 2 from Sweetwater, very happy with them, nice speakers.Hi all,
I searched the forum but didn't find a satisfying answer.
Would the Eminence Delta 10A make a good replacement speaker for an Eden 410XLT? I think I need to replace two speakers (see picture).
Like to hear from you guys.
I was about to provide the same advice.Buy the Eminence CA 1059
