Eminence Legend CA154 not in winISD?

OK, I'n a newbie to the winISD tool, but I got it installed and tried to pick the Eminence Legend CA154 - but there's it's not in the list. Any thoughts? There's a ton of other Eminence speakers, but not that one.

Do I have to manually enter all the thiele and small parameters myself?

EDIT: I'm looking to replace the mis-matched speakers in my Acoustic 106 2x15 cabinet. I know the CA154's are 4ohm, so I guess I'll be wiring them in series to get an 8ohm cab.
 
OK, I think I got it working, but the results of the graphs look odd. Does this look right for SPL? 2 Eminence CA 154 speakers (specs below), vented cab with 2 ports, input 100Watts.

If you are just starting out with running sims (driver/cab simulations) maybe try a few other drivers in your budget range. There are many more drivers in that general price range. Not saying the CA-154 is not a good driver, but there are others worth consideration.

Thanks. I added an Eminence Alpha 15a to compare against the C154. Maybe someone with some winISD experience can tell me what I'm looking at? The Alpha has a steep curve with a jump at 100 (100 what? watts?). The C154 is pretty flat in comparison.

That shouldnt be a restriction. If it is, you can play with porting, which will change your internal volume. If you cant square that, then you need a different driver.

This is an old 1972 Acoustic 106 2x15 cabinet, so I've got to work with what I've got. Am I trying to get a lower Hz at a lowest decibel, or a lower Hz at a higher decibel? Or maybe I'm missing the tuning goal altogether (probably true!).
 
If this is the only cab design you are likely to do, maybe you should provide us with the internal volume of the cab, the amplifier you are using, your budget and what you would like from the cab with respect to tone. For the latter it may be easier if you tell us about the kinds of music you play. If you really want to learn enough to competently design a bass cab you may want to start by reading a few cab design threads on this forum.
 
Did you "force" (input the internal dimensions) of your existing cab? Play with the port length, as you lower the "hump" you extend the usable low frequency range. Adjust the power input level to see what the max spl (sound pressure level in dB) of the cab will be at "full power" not necessary for tuning.

Yep, all good points. I measured the internal volume of the cabinet at 5.65 cubic feet. The primary amp is a Fender Bassman 100T and the backup is a Ampeg PF350. Budget is around 300.00 I'm trying to get a thumpy tone for blues bass using either a Fender P bass using Fender passive stock pickups, or a Fender jazz running passive, stock pickups. Trying to get a blues band going....

Decent Xmax for bass use even though the Xlim is restricted. Xmax is the maximum linear movement of the cone, Xlim is the maximum mechanical movement before damage.

:laugh: Yes it can lead to dizziness and head aches. The important thing is to stick with it, you'll wind up with a much better sounding and louder cab. Thank the stars you are not back in the old days when we had to measure by hand and do manual calculations.
