Emma Boards

Was just checking out Emma pedals and saw they sold really nice looking boards. Anyone got one? If so, how is it? Can you easily mount power underneath?

Did a search and found nothing. Mostly threads with Emma DiscomBOBulator envelope pedal stuff, which looks neat by the way. (Too bad I need another filter like I need a hole in my head.)

Any info is appreciated. They look light and very slick. And no I'm not affiliated with them at all. Wish I was!

Pretty much Pedaltrain equivalents, slightly lower cost, less sturdy cases, and with screwed on side plates rather than fully welded design. I think I would prefer the PTs to not have a screwed together construct that may come apart or become loose over time. On the other hand the PT cases are somewhat heavy overkill for many so a lighter and less bulky case can be a plus too. A matter of taste and looks perhaps.

Personally I think both have a major design flaw in that you have to lift the pedalboard out of the case/bag, I like the board to stay in a case where you can just lift off the lid.

I have the 76cm one. I've chosen it over the Pedaltrain because PT hard case was too heavy (~11 kg), while Emma hard case is around 5 kg. Taking the pedalboard in/out of the case is really no problem at all, and you'll be able to mount regular-sized power supplies underneath (I fixed mine with velcro ). You can check the photos in the other thread.
