So for 12 years I've been enjoying this marvelous album by Pierre Bensusan called "Spices," which features the most amazing bass playing - superb use of time and space, great range of attacks and tonal nuances with the occasional string pop tossed in, great intonation and feeling on fretless as well as fretted, a big, big sound, and really tasty parts underneath Bensusan's songs. Only one problem - I'd misplaced the booklet in the jewel box...

But now I've found it, and found out the bass player is Emmanuel Binet.

Given the Bensusan album and a quick google search, I gather he is French.

He is also a monster player and musician. Does anyone out there know anything about him?

Never heard of him until today. Dropping down the rabbit hole I found this site - Link Removed authored by Binet.
Seems to be a collection of well produced tracks for commercial use in a wide variety of styles and genres. All are extremely polished and complete.
