Emulate Noble DI with Jad Freer Audio CAPO Pedal?

I’m just curious as to whether anyone (who fortunately owns both) has tried to emulate the Noble DI with the CAPO preamp pedal?

There are no tubes in the CAPO obviously but I wonder if there is a combination of settings that could emulate the tube warmth of the Noble DI? as it’s a pretty versatile pedal having both preamp sides and the option to combine both and change the order, also the saturation styles on the A-side are variable.

Most people who love the Noble refer to the feeling they get/response when playing through it. I wonder if that could be achieved with the CAPO?

I own a Noble but not a CAPO. I’m not sure if you could get it exactly because of the specific tone stack in the Noble as well as the tubes. But the B side of the CAPO has FETs in it which are commonly used to mimic tubes in solid state circuits so I could see getting some similarities at low gain. The Noble doesn’t break up.

I just got my Capo yesterday. I have a bunch of nice preamps, both pedal and rack but not a Noble. Very familiar with their sound though. Back to the Capo, this is an amazing design and very well thought out. The tones that I'm getting out of it are great. Extremely happy with this all around but not able to have them side by side. I have given up on my quest for the Noble. I have a tube in my pre on the Mesa WD800 and in my Arkham Oracle so I'm covered on the tube thing.

Noble sounds good, Capo sounds good.

I've had both. I sold the Noble - but not because it wasn't as "good" as the CAPO. In my opinion, and to keep this very brief, the Noble is softer/warmer and the CAPO has more bite and control. I love the CAPO eq - it's great with my J bass with Lollar singles.

I also have the Great River ME-INV, and it crushes everything I've ever played through, but it doesn't have an eq.

A/B'ing the CAPO with the Grace Design Felix - the CAPO is the clear winner on electric bass (big, thick, punchy, great character, etc). The Felix is more natural and clear on upright. - just my .02

this is a great combo: j bass into CAPO, into Great River, into the power section of the bass block, into anything...I have Berg 10s.
