Hi All,
So I've been playing bass guitar for quite a few years now and recently got myself an electric upright. I got it because I've always thought they were cool, and I wanted to experiment with some bow/effects pedal stuff to see what kind of whacky noises I could make.
I don't expect to master it or anything like that, it's kind of a fun side project atm, but I'm enjoying it. The only issue I have is that when I have the endpin out long enough that I can play standing, it wobbles like crazy which makes the whole playing experience very difficult.
I've never played an instrument similar to this before, and I don't know anybody else that I can ask for advice so I kind of just wanted to see if I could benefit from this communities experience.
My assumption is that the endpin isn't stiff enough, and that buying a new, better endpin might solve my problem(?) if that's true, how interchangeable are endpins? could I could straight swap one for another.
I mainly just don't want to spend money without checking with people that know what they're talking about.
For anyone interested, this is the bass.
